Pacific Economic Outlook (PEO) is among the PECC activities and engaged in a cross-cutting research field. It has the twin taskforces of PEO/Forecast and PEO/Structure, respectively dealing with short-term and longer-term macro-economic issues in the Pacific. Being the core taskforces of PECC, PEO/Forecast (under the Canadian coordinator) and PEO/Structure (under the Japanese coordinator) actively present their reports to the meetings of PECC, and sometimes to the Ministerial Meetings of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) also.
